One of the most popular requests that we have received has been to clean up the wooded areas along Harris Road. To that end, a short work day has been scheduled on May 4th. We will be dragging limbs and larger debris to the road and making piles which will then be chipped and hauled away. This first effort will begin at the corner of Harris Road and Quince Lane.
Our goal is not only to improve the appearance of the neighborhood, but to inform homeowners that it is not appropriate to dump debris in common areas. Landscape cuttings dumped on common areas become an expense for the entire neighborhood. Hopefully, it will be less tempting to dump in cleaned areas.
Please consider helping on May 4th, for as little or as long as possible. Our past events have been a great time to meet new neighbors and give back to the community Boots, gloves, and long pants should be worn. Feel free to comment below if you have questions.
Thanks in advance!
